If I had a dime for every time someone has told me "Time flies" or "I can't believe how fast my baby is growing," I would be a billionaire! But this is the truth - time goes by so quickly during the first few years and especially during the fourth trimester! Before you know it, the tiny little baby you just brought home from the hospital will be trying solids for the first time, saying "mama" or "dada," taking their first steps and heading off to school! Having a postpartum doula during the fourth trimester may not help to slow time down, but it will help you be able to soak in those sweet moments while your doula is taking care of tasks that you would normally have to do.

It does not matter if you are a seasoned parent or a first-time parent, bringing home your baby can be overwhelming for most of us. Having a postpartum doula means that you do not need to have as much pressure to "have it all together" or feel like you need to know the answers to everything. As a certified postpartum doula, my skills and experience will allow me to foresee the needs of your family so you can take a step back and bond with your baby. 

It does not matter what your parenting philosophy is or if you even have one because my job is to support your decisions and help you navigate this crazy, emotional and beautiful time in your life. This may mean caring for your baby so you can get some much-needed rest, providing overnight assistance so you can feel refreshed, emotional support or light housekeeping. I know I would rather snuggle my baby than clean endless amounts of bottles or fold laundry! Having a postpartum doula means you can be your best and have it all!
